Abdera Jockey Club

16 kilometers from Xanthi is the Jockey Club Abdera The facilities are Georgantzi Farm 16 km from the city of Xanthi and 10 km from the coast of Abdera, in a green environment. The farm is part of the farm Constantine Georgantzi which also housed the plant breeder of thoroughbred Arab horses, the only so far in Greece. The farm is open all day for visitors who can watch all with the activities such as grooming horses, feeding, cleaning, scraper, brush, shoeing and training.
